Borehole Repair and Maintenance in Abuja: Fix It Before It Fails

One morning the taps go quiet, or the water turns brown, or the pump starts groaning. Borehole problems rarely fix themselves, and every week you wait makes the repair costlier. We diagnose, repair and service boreholes across Abuja and the FCT: pump faults, electrical failures, low yield holes and dirty water, handled by the same crew that drills them.

What we fix: pumps that stopped pumping or pump weakly, tripping breakers, airlocks, brown or muddy water, sudden sand in the water, reduced yield after years of service, and boreholes that were drilled badly by others. We diagnose on site, quote before we touch anything, and repair with proper parts. Book a diagnosis on 0703 377 9813.

How It Works

How Our Repair Visit Works

From symptom to fix in four steps.

1

Symptom Check

We start with your account of the problem: when it started, what changed, how the pump sounds. Half of borehole faults are identifiable before we even open the hole.

2

On Site Testing

We test the electrics, pull and inspect the pump, camera check the casing where needed, and measure the current yield of the hole against what it produced.

3

The Fix, Quoted First

You get a clear diagnosis and a quote before any work begins: pump repair or replacement, casing work, well development to restore yield, or water treatment if quality is the issue.

4

Prevent the Next Breakdown

We finish with a servicing schedule for your system, so the next failure is prevented years before it would have happened.

Why It Matters

Small Borehole Problems Become Dry Season Emergencies

A pump that struggles in October will die in December, exactly when half of Abuja needs water most. Repairs are cheapest when the warning signs are early: strange noise, breaker trips, slower tank filling, air in the pipes. Our maintenance visits catch those signs before your compound goes dry. An annual service costs far less than an emergency pump replacement in the peak of dry season.

What Is a Maintenance Plan?

A scheduled servicing agreement for your borehole system: periodic inspection of pump, electrics, tank and fittings, cleaning of filters, yield testing and priority response if anything fails. Ideal for estates, schools, hospitals, factories and busy family compounds in Abuja that cannot afford downtime.

Common Questions

Borehole Repair FAQs

What are the signs my borehole pump is failing?

The early warnings are: the pump humming but delivering little or no water, the breaker tripping repeatedly, air sputtering from the taps, slower tank filling, and a pump that starts and stops too often. Any of these means call a technician now, before the motor burns completely.

Why did my borehole water suddenly turn brown or muddy?

Usually a failing casing, a collapsed or silted gravel pack, or a pump sitting too close to the bottom of the hole. It can also happen after heavy rains disturb the ground. We pull the pump, inspect the casing and restore the hole. Do not keep drinking discoloured water.

How often should a borehole be serviced?

For a family compound, once a year is the healthy interval. For estates, schools, hospitals and commercial systems, every six months or a maintenance contract. Servicing catches pump wear and yield drops early, when fixes are small.

Can you repair a borehole you did not drill?

Yes. We repair and service boreholes drilled by any company across Abuja and the FCT. We diagnose the system first, tell you exactly what is wrong and what it takes to fix it, then you decide.

My borehole yield has dropped over the years. Can it be restored?

Often yes. Yield decline is commonly caused by clogged screens, silted gravel packs or a water table that shifted. Well development and cleaning can restore much of the lost yield, and a survey confirms the current water situation underground.
